We are looking for a chemist with expertise in polymer synthesis and a strong foundation in polymers for a project involving nanotechnology. The ideal candidate should also have a strong background in polymer structure/property relationships, should understand and have experience in a broad number of characterization techniques.

Process Chemical Engineer
Provides direct process engineering support for existing powder synthesis and/or ceramic parts production lines. Interacts with Quality, Safety, Facilities and manufacturing personnel in supporting all manufacturing activities ranging from immediate operational resolution to long term quality and/or cost improvements. Reports regularly to New Materials Manager, NDMaterials. Implements cost reduction or process improvement activities based on data, experimental results and objectives set by supervisor.

Physicist
This Scientist will be a member of a team responsible for developing new technology and products and will handle characterization efforts. Candidate must have a BS/MS in Physics with a related background. Specialization in experimental condensed matter Physics is preferred, but not required. Candidates will have worked in an R&D setting with experience in materials development, equipment design, and characterization as well as in general experimental procedures. The candidate will have excellent written and communication skill and should be familiar with standard word, spreadsheet, presentation, and design software. Candidates with industrial experience are preferable.
